Renewable Energy Group (REG)_SMPR

For REG’s launch announcement of their plant in Illinois, Innova orchestrated visits by then Senators Barack Obama, John McCain and Hillary Clinton. We investigated venues and secured locations; wrote press releases and researched media markets for targeted release; placed turnout calls to local media and posted the story online to REG’s newly-launched website. We accompanied speakers to venues, coordinated walk-throughs and coached on talking points; coordinated technical components and equipment; secured film crew and directed coverage; handled crowd management; and distributed press kits. Media exposure included pick up by The Wall Street Journal and more than 50 national news outlets.
