Your favorite season
I loooove right now! The beginning of Fall when you can break out the hoodies and still wear flip flops. I've never stopped playing in the leaves. I grew up in Northeast Iowa right on the Mississippi (McGregor) and it's the most beautiful place in the world in the Fall. I always make it back for at least one weekend to see the leaves. Plus, it's football season which is always full of excitement!

What you’re most passionate about
The one consistent thing for me has always been music. Playing, listening, making, supporting, and everything in between. I feel like its also one thing that the world could never be without. It's amazing what you can feel and express with music that you could never put into words.

Family
Surprisingly, I am the oldest of 7 brothers and sisters. Made possible by a few rounds of marriage. I have 3 brothers – Kory, Jerrid, and Kris and 4 sisters – Carly, Taylor, Shannon, and Meghan. All are in high school except for Kory (23) who is married and serving in the Navy on the east coast, Carly (21) who is newly married and going to college in LaCrosse, WI, and Meghan (8) who is a third grader in Muscatine and basically a mini version of myself.

Your most embarrassing moment
I really can’t believe that I'm sharing this but I think that it's been long enough that I’m ok with it. When I was in 4th grade (roughly 9 or 10) I was asked to read a passage from the bible in church one Sunday. I had practiced many times and was very confident when I went up to read it in front of the congregation. I began reading with no problem and all of a sudden things fell extremely quiet and I looked up and all eyes were bulging out of everyone’s skulls. I had no idea what I had done wrong!! Afterwards, I found out (even though I had no understanding of the concept) that I had pronounced "condemn" wrong. Whoops!
