I graduated from Drake University with a BS in Education and then taught various grades for 20 years! My favorite college course was Psychology. 

Family
I have two daughters, Ashlee and Kaitlin, who both attend the University of Iowa. My husband's name is Dave and we have a cockapoo named Solomon. My great-grandfather grew up in Wales as one of nine children. He was the only one in the family to emigrate to the United States. Because of this, I have been to England and Wales to visit many of my relatives. 

On your nightstand
I love to read! I am now reading Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen.

What was the first concert you went to? The most recent?

I love music, too. My first concert I attended was the Eagles. The last concert I attended was Van Halen.
