Visiting Nurse Services of Iowa (VNS)_Branding

Innova developed the Venus Family Planning brand from the ground up, including naming and logo refresh as well as design of all stationery and administration pieces: clinic signage, letterhead, envelopes, business cards, appointment cards and forms. We chose stock photography to meet all age and diversity requirements for specific programs.

Iowa Innovative Gateway_Brand

A committee of approximately 70 individuals, the Central Iowa Regional Innovation Initiative (CIRII) came to Innova for branding and strategy to reflect the group’s economic development efforts. We changed the CIRII name to Iowa Innovation Gateway and developed the logo and tagline “Connecting Commerce and Communities.” We also developed brand standards, business stationery and the e-newsletter template.

Renewable Energy Group (REG)_BRAND

REG engaged Innova to serve as their agency of record and brand steward. Innova has managed all aspects of REG’s national and international brand development including logo design and message development; print advertising and collateral material development; and strategic marketing and public relations planning and execution. We worked closely with the REG executive team and national sales force to refine and streamline messaging and brand execution. We clearly defined brand attributes and differentiators, and continually compared and contrasted this work against the competition.

Special Olympics National Games_BRAND

Ames, Iowa, was the host city for the 2006 Special Olympics National Games (SONG), the first-ever Games to be held in the U.S. Innova developed the logo and served as design studio and brand steward during the development of stationery, signage, invitations, nametags, medals – virtually all collateral. We also designed and edited SONG’S commemorative program book.

Burgie's Coffee & Tea Company_Brand

To establish Burgie’s storefronts as preferred destinations and promote their packaged coffees and teas to connoisseurs and the general public alike, Innova developed a new logo and tagline; an updated color palette; and positioning statement. Innova wrote collateral material to tell the Burgie’s story and applied the brand elements to elements such as external and internal signage, bags, labels, aprons, t-shirts and other apparel.

City of Clive_Brand

Research into demographics and comparisons to surrounding communities led Innova’s branding and PR efforts to center on the City of Clive’s greenbelt area. We redesigned the City’s logo and developed a succinct tagline – “Distinct by Nature.” We applied the new brand to letterhead, business cards, notecards and other stationery pieces as well as a citywide newsletter and the City’s widely used website: www.cityofclive.com.

Woolbright Development_Brand

Innova developed the Woolbright brand through a new logo, copy tone and color palette, which were implemented in the design and writing of collateral that includes corporate brochure/annual report, print ads, quarterly newsletter, direct mail campaign, tradeshow graphics and website. We implemented Woolbright’s visual system to ensure a consistent identity across all media.

Mass. Electric_BRAND

The goal was to strengthen Mass. Electric’s position in the large-scale electrical systems construction industry. We chose to let the company's work speak for itself: high-end photography illustrated their quality of work, while multiple images in print collateral and rotating Flash on the website showed their breadth of projects. Additionally, Innova developed brand guidelines; provided art direction for photography; wrote/edited corporate brochures and web content; and designed/developed the website.

C AND K_BRAND

Innova has partnered with C AND K for the past several years, helping build their brand and strengthening their reputation throughout Ames and Central Iowa. Innova centered the C AND K brand around their recognizable green trucks and based the tagline on the company's value proposition: “Trust - People - Service - Products – That’s the C AND K way." Innova has provided project management, graphic design and copywriting for billboards, print ads and web design/programming.

Federal Home Loan Bank_BRAND

Innova began working with FHLB Des Moines for design and copywriting of annual reports. FHLB then asked for assistance with rebranding the Bank. We developed brand positioning statement and brand platform; built key messages for each audience; created brand standards to guide visual communication and tone of content; and facilitated brand training for employees. Innova has also developed collateral for the Bank and coordinated several events.
